eGear X-FLARE PRO FOCUS CONTROL 400 Headlamp The
highest power mode is only available for a short period, perhaps a
minute, before this headlamp automatically switches to a lower setting.
No user manual came with our unit. Garter straps are too flimsy and
lower quality than other eGear or headlamps. Battery pack is unbalanced
and too heavy to wear on the head. Lasted 2 hours on the job with
less-than-full power approximately 1/2 the time, and a low power the
rest of the time. Huge lamp is unbalanced for long use. Range of focus
is not that wide. Light color is a perfectly neutral white. Not
regemended, overall. Cost including shipping was $125.
